Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
The short version
freevocalremover splits audio files you upload into stems, for free. Only upload music you have the right to process, use the results legally, don't abuse the service. That's it.
1. The service
freevocalremover (freevocalremover.org) provides AI-based audio source separation. The service is provided free of charge, "as is", without warranty of any kind. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
2. Your uploads
You may only upload audio that you own, have a licence to use, or are otherwise legally permitted to process (for example for private practice or study under your local copyright law). You are solely responsible for the files you upload and for how you use the output. Your upload is deleted as soon as it has been processed — we keep no copy of your audio.
3. Using the results
Separated stems remain subject to the copyright of the original recording. Private practice and study are generally fine; publishing, sampling or commercial release of stems from music you don't own requires permission from the rights holders. Nothing here is legal advice.
4. Fair use of the service
Daily limits apply per person. Automated scraping, bulk processing or attempts to circumvent limits may result in blocked access.
5. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
Rights holders can send takedown notices to hello@freevocalremover.org. Because we store no audio at all, most concerns resolve automatically, but we respond to every notice.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, freevocalremover is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including loss of files or any consequence of how you use the output.
